Just got this mail...

As we've promised, we recently launched a new sponsorship config feature to your forums. Via the Community Control Panel, you can now choose which type of sponsors will be shown on your forum. The two options are banners via AdSense (the ad's that appear between posts), and the popular In-Text ads (highlighted text with popup ad's when ounsed over) that we previously tested.

This new feature gives you more freedom and control to manage your community


We have to have one to keep the board free, so please vote for which you would prefer and i'll make the changes at the end of the week.

Because you then have to have about six different image/ compression softwares on your PC each with its own virtual drive, etc etc. and the vast majority of them are not free.

Also, the people who use such products are ALWAYS users who do not consider that other people use other operating systems. I now have four different operating systems running on my computers (and I'm rather geekily considering getting an opensolaris system running too) so having a windows-only Alcohol, or PowerISO or MagicISO, etc. or having a Mac-only Toast file is fricking annoying.

Use an ISO9660! It's an ISO standard for feck's sake! It's designed to be interoperable!

assuming you mean epileptic, i very much doubt that any adverts on this site would actually trigger PSE in anyone. but if you have any concerns, i could run them through a Harding machine to confirm it.

nope, its a computer specifically set up to make sure that we don't broadcast something that will cause someone suffering from PSE and fit.

something specifically set up for downloading porn is called a Joey.
